Xiaomi has recently released the next version of its custom skin – MIUI 12.5. We all are now familiar with its features and functions. With this skin, the computing power has been upgraded with the latest version and different mobile phones are smoother.
The company has begun sending MIUI 12.5 update to several Xiaomi devices. In the meantime, Chinese OEM is sending beta updates for this custom skin and the newest update for it comes with version 21.1.19.
This update brings some new functions, optimizations as well as known bug fixes in the Brower for a better user experience. It adds a simple and quick operation – a long-press sliding operation on the bottom bar.

It further optimizes the layout of the settings page to make it more convenient to modify the configuration and optimizes multi-window animation to make the experience smoother.

Moreover, the update has already been released for models and more devices will receive in the coming hours. Also, due to the major version upgrade of Android, Redmi Note 9 4G will start to release MIUI12.5 in mid-to-late January 2021.
