After a bunch of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi finally launched its latest Redmi Note 10 5G smartphones in India. However, the new phone entered under Poco branding and is known as Poco M3 Pro 5G.
This is the cheapest 5G phone in India with affordable pricing. Poco usually offers a dot drop display but the Poco M3 Pro offers a dot display for more immersive viewing. It further has a 91% screen-to-body ratio for gaming, entertainment, and photography.

Display:
The Poco M3 Pro 5G has a 6.5-inch screen with a 1080p+ display, a centered punch hole for the front camera, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The manufacturers added a feature called DynamicSwitch that automatically adjusts the refresh rate based on the content you are viewing. The phone can switch between 30Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz.
Processor:
The product is powered by Dimensity 700 processor. It not only outperforms the former but also the Snapdragon 720G processor on AnTuTu.
RAM/Storage:
It comes with two storage variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The memory can be expanded up to 1TB with microSD.
Operating System:
The Poco M3 Pro 5G runs Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS. The custom skin will be soon updated to MIUI 12.5.
Battery:
The device packs a 5000 mAh battery which only supports 18W fast charging but comes with a 22.5W power adapter that you can use for your other devices too. The company claims it will last up to 2-days on a single charge depending on the usage.
Camera:
On the back, there’s a triple camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro camera. On the other side, it has an 8MP selfie shooter. For features, you get a Night Mode and a time-lapse mode.
Connectivity:
On the connectivity phase, it has a dual 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC.
Other Features:
The M3 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IR sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual SIM slots (nano + nano).
Availability
The company offers three colors for Poco M3 Pro 5G – Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow. It will be available from Flipkart starting from June 14th.
