Redmi 10 Prime will use 6000mAh battery with reverse charging support

Xiaomi India is set to introduce Redmi 10 Prime smartphones in the country on September 3. As usual, ahead of the launch, the company teases the smartphone many times and revealing its features.

In the recent teaser, the tech giant has exposed the battery size of the forthcoming device. According to the officials, Redmi 10 Prime will pack a large 6,000mAh battery. It is claimed to be the lightest 6,000mAh phone.

Adding to this, the teaser also reveals that the phone will support both types of charging – the standard as well as the reverse. Aside from this, the front panel of the phone can also be seen in the video clip. It has a punch-hole display with slim bezels.

Previously, it was reported that Redmi 10 Prime will be the rebranded version of Redmi 10 smartphones that have been recently debuted. But the Redmi 10 features a 5,000mAh battery whereas, the 10 Prime is confirmed to arrive with a 6,000mAh battery.

It indicates that the phone may equip some similar specs and features but all. Last, week, the firm announced that Redmi 10 Prime will be powered by MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, which also powers the Redmi 10.

The Redmi 10 Prime will display a 6.5 inches FHD+ punch-hole screen that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. It will have a quad-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it will have an 8MP snapper.

Moreover, the device will run MIUI 12.5 on top of the Android 11 operating system. Its 6,000mAh battery could have support for 18W fast charging. Also, the battery supports 9W reverse charging.

Besides this, the phone will support dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, a MicroSD card slot, and an IR blaster.
