Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 8 Pro has started grabbing a new software update that basically installs an Android security patch for the month of February 2022. This update is rolling out for European users.
When considering the build version, the Redmi Note 8 Pro February 2022 security brings the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.4.0.RCOEUXM. Now it comes with a heavy package size of 2.6GB, via stable Beta recovery.
According to the changelog, the February 2022 security update enhances the system’s security and stability to improve users’ experience. However, it may come with some new changes and improvements.
