Samsung releases new charging dock for Galaxy Watch
Samsung has launched a new Galaxy Watch charging base on the US official website. It has not yet been sold, and the parameters have not been announced. As you can see from the picture, this base adopts a U-shaped design, which is expected to be designed for the newly released Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

Due to the design change of the new watch, the D-Buckle sports strap cannot be well compatible with the previous charging methods such as Wireless PowerShare, and the strap needs to be removed to charge wirelessly. The new base is expected to solve this problem.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro only has a 45mm version, weighs 46 grams, is provided with a 1.4-inch 450×450 AMOLED screen, and is equipped with an Exynos W920 dual-core 1.18GHz processor, 16GB storage space, and 590mAh battery.
In terms of design, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is completely different from last year’s Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in terms of appearance, removing the iconic rotating bezel and adopting a simple design similar to the regular model.
However, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with a titanium case that is more durable than the regular Galaxy Watch 5’s aluminum case, 2x stronger sapphire crystal, and a more durable D-Buckle sports strap.
