TENAA certification exposes the stunning design of upcoming Redmi K40

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is set to launch its Redmi K40 lineup on February 25. Along with this, the company will also unveil RedmiBook Pro on the same day.

Just recently, we have seen Black Shark 4 and Mi 10 5G received the TENAA certification. Now, going by the new report, Redmi K0 and K40 Pro also certified by Telecommunication Equipment’s Network Access Managements (TENAA) in China.

As per the report, Redmi K40 is identified by the model number M2012K11AC and Redmi K40 Pro is identified by the model number M2012K11C. Judging by the designs, both the smartphones look quite similar.

These two devices will feature a small center-aligned punch-hole display, and a rectangular rear camera module with curved corners, reminding us of the Mi 11. The camera setup of both devices has two large camera sensors and two small sensors.

Coming to the devices’ specifications, only a few things that have been mentioned, clear that they will have 5G (SA and NSA) and dual SIM card support. More information is expected to arrive in the coming days.

Redmi K40 Pro

Earlier, the device passed the China Compulsory Certificate (3C), which unfolds that the upcoming flagship will support 5G networking and 33W fast charging.

It is also reported that the product could be powered by Snapdragon 888 or 870 SoC and its typical battery capacity would not be less than 4500mAh.

Adding to this, previously, Lu Weibing on Weibo posted the image of Redmi K40’s packing boxes, one is thick while the other one is thin. It indicates that the K40 will either have different variants or it will not provide a charger in some boxes.
