Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi TV 6 series on June 28 in China. The officials have been continuously releasing new teaser images to reveal some of its features. These teasers give us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming products.
In the latest teaser poster, Xiaomi disclosed that the Mi TV 6 series will come with a powerful 100W speaker. However, this isn’t the first smart TV that is packing a 100W speaker setup but this is Xiaomi’s first TV to feature such a powerful speaker.

It looks like the company is mounting this setup with the TV so that users needn’t have to rely on an external soundbar for a better experience. Before Mi TV 6, Xiaomi smart TVs usually have speakers of small size and subsequently low wattage.
Besides, in a recent teaser, the company has revealed that the upcoming smart TV will come with a 48-megapixel dual-camera setup. Also, this will be the first-ever smart TV to use 48MP dual cameras.
Adding to this, the company reveals the feature “new interactive mode” that will take advantage of the additional camera sensor. However, the executive didn’t define which apps would use the technology, we believe games and fitness apps would be among them.
Xiaomi Mi TV 6 – What we know so far:
It was previously confirmed that Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition will include three variants such as 55/65/75 inches. It will have HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ certification, as well as Dolby Vision, IMAX certification. Adding to this, there will be Xiaomi Mi TV ES 55/65/75 2022 models released at the same time.
Reports further reveal that the Mi TV 6 series supports Wi-Fi 6 network connection. It has HDMI 2.1 interface and AMD FreeSync Premium game display certification. This FreeSync technology can ensure that the game screen will not tear.
In addition, Pan Jun who is the general manager of Xiaomi TV has recently released a teaser saying that the Xiaomi Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition is a “one-shot” picture quality flagship and will try to break the superstition of 10,000 yuan imported TV picture quality represented by Sony.
It is reported that the internal code name of Mi TV 6 is “Uncrowned Master”. Officially, it will challenge the new height of the 10,000 yuan picture quality cover. The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition will start with 100-level partitions and high-end LCD picture quality.
